This conference will be one of the second big International meetings
exclusively dedicated to Polymer Blends, Macro, Micro and
Nanocomposites, IPNs, Membranes and Gels. The conference will be
extremely useful in the sense that it will be attended by hundreds of
Chemists, Physicists, Technologists and Engineers, making it a truly
interdisciplinary conference. The goal of the conference emphasizes
interdisciplinary research on processing, morphology, structure,
properties and applications of blends, composites, IPNs and Gels from
macro to nano scales and their applications in medicine, automotive,
civil, chemical, aerospace, computer and marine engineering.

This symposium will bring together a panel of highly-accomplished
experts in the field of Polymer Blends, Composites, IPNs, Membranes,
Poly Electrolytes and Gels. Talks will encompass basic studies and
applications and will address topics of novel issues. During the
three-day conference, we will listen to recognized authorities in the
field as they discuss recent advances, difficulties, and breakthroughs
in the field of Polymer Blends, Composites, IPNs, Membranes, Poly
Electrolytes and Gels. The conference will feature keynote addresses,
a number of plenary sessions, invited talks and contributed lectures
focusing on specific tenets of Polymer Blends, Composites, IPNs,
Membranes, Poly Electrolytes and Gels. Additionally, there will be
several poster sessions, and four best poster presentations will be
selected for the awards

In view of your research contributions in the field of multiphase
polymer systems, we would like to welcome you to give an invited talk
for the conference in the area of multiphase polymer systems
(Composites, Blends, IPNs, Membranes, Poly electrolytes or Gels). An
appropriate title could be decided by you. I would appreciate if you
could e-mail us: impc2012@macromol.in one-page abstract of the talk in
the MS word format.

During the conference there will be a brain storming discussion
meeting in order to submit a joint project proposals to Eurpean Union
under the Seventh Frame Work programme of Fp7 for funding between
your country, India and Europe. We will also discus other bilateral
research progrmmes between DST of India and rest of the world. Please
note that DST of India has signed bilateral agreement with almost all
the countries in the globe. These include DST-NSF, DST-DAAD, DST-DFG,
DST-KBN, Indo-French (CEFIPRA), DST-Austrlaia, etc etc. This
conference will act as a good platform to find partners for
international research collaborations.

I am glad to inform you that the editors of the Journal entitled
“Composite Interfaces” (Brill Netherlands,
http://www.brill.nl/publications/journals/composite-interfaces) and
“Polymers Research Journal” (Nova Publishers, USA,
www.novapublishers.com) have agreed to publish peer reviewed papers
presented at the conference. We also got acceptance from Apple
Academic Press, Canada
(www.http://www.appleacademicpress.com/news-events.html) to edit a
book on “Advances in Multi-component Polymer Systems" based on the
papers published in the conference.

The city of Kottayam in Kerala has a large number of excellent hotels.
Kottayam city is famous for lakes, latex and letters. The hotels in
Kottayam are relatively inexpensive. There are a large number of
tourist spots in Kerala. The most important ones are Munnar Mountains
(the best tourist spot in Asia based on UNESCO), Thekkady Wild life
Sanctuary, Cochin, and Varkkala/Kovalam beaches. Our conference
official travel agent will organize your sight seeing trip in the most
economic way. Since we do not have much funding, all the speakers are
requested to pay the registration fee. Please note that the
registration fee has been fixed at an affordable rate. We offer many
discounts for the invited speakers.

We are looking forward to hearing from you soon,

With our best personal regards,

Robert Shanks (Australia) and Sabu Thomas (India)
